A place with no bullying and free of judgements. We want the best for your child, so we provide the best trained faculty. Boombox has been open since 2010 and we continue to grow and thrive. Erica Ray - Owner

Erica Ray is a native of Nashville, TN and has been dancing for the past 30 years and teaching for the last 14 years. She started her training at one of the best studios in Nashville and has since trained with many other amazing talents. At the age of 11 and 12, her mother sent her to train at Debbie Allen’s dance studio in Los, Angeles. She then went on to train at many other well-known studios in California.

At the tender age of 18 she started her professional career with artist such as, Christina Aguilera, Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Lee Ann Womack, Dierks Bently, Julianna Cole and that’s just to name a few. She has performed in commercials such as Zaxby’s, Smirnoff, Geico and Superbowl commercials. She has been a principal dancer for TV shows such as CW’s Legacies, Netflix Step up High Water, and the hit show, Nashville. Her movies include Love, Simon and Netflix hit movie Dumplin. Her live performances include a 3-month international tour in Singapore, CMT awards, NCAA, Nashville’s Bellesque, and Harley Davidson showcases.

Erica has since devoted her time to being a parent and teaching her amazing students at Boombox. She plans on continuing this journey and growing her business and her relationship with God.
